Terms and refunds
Last updated 10 October 2026.
What you are buying
Soundscribe is made by Peasant Design and sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link is the merchant of record for your order: it takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt. Your receipt and card statement will show Link rather than Peasant Design. Paying also means agreeing to Link's terms.
You are buying a license to install and use Soundscribe for Windows, delivered as a digital download. Use of the app is covered by the End User License Agreement shown in the installer. In short: you may use it for your own personal or commercial tabletop gaming, and you may not redistribute, resell or reverse-engineer it.
All sales are final
Because the product is a digital download delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds once the download link has been issued. By ticking the box at checkout you ask for immediate delivery and accept that any right to cancel ends when delivery begins.
We will still fix genuine problems:
- If you were charged more than once for the same purchase, we refund the duplicate.
- If Soundscribe will not install or start on a PC that meets the requirements and we cannot resolve it, we refund the purchase.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Link. If you have a question about the charge itself, you can also contact Link from your receipt.
Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country that cannot be waived.
Requirements
64-bit Windows 10 or 11. Please check this before you buy.
Bundled sounds
The starter pack may be used in your own games and streams. It is not licensed for extraction and resale as a sound library. Sources and licenses are listed in the app under Credits and licenses.
No warranty
Soundscribe is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
